Five Community Service Programs
Park City Athenaeum Club helped establish and run Park City's first public library!
PAST & recent activities include:
- Host Bookin' On Home (reading & book distribution to local students)
- Host the Annual Girls Graduate Tea for the Park City High School (we've been hosting this for over 75 years!)
- Honor the Inspirational Girl High School Graduate of the Year
- Sponsor Outstanding Sophomore students to attend the annual Hugh O'Brian Leadership Conference (HOBY)
- Host Adopt-a-Roadway road cleanup of a 2.2-mile section of Route 224
- Collect new and gently worn shoes for Soles4Souls
- Sort & clean eyeglasses for Hope Alliance
- Participate in the Belle of the Ball program to benefit females at Hill Air Force Base
- Participate in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's
- Kindness Program
- Provide bi-monthly dinners to Peace House residents
- Sort donations for annual Bling Fling to support Peace House
- Create Easter Baskets and participate in Back 2 School Basics to benefit local youth (and other projects) through the Christian Center of Park City
- Sponsor Writing Contest for all students in Park City School District
- Conservation talk at Swaner Ecocenter
- Volunteer at Park City Hospital Community Garden
- Presentations by the the Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter and Recycle Utah
- Provide seeds & instructions for local children to grow their own plants
- Support organizations such as Operation Underground Railroad and Operation Smiles
- Tree Planting
- Work with GFWC of Utah and other local GFWC clubs
